Track parts in service, in stock, out for repair, or on the bench

AV-BASE developed WinAir to offer operators the ability to manage your maintenance and inventory in one integrated system.

When parts are received in WinAir, they are assigned unique batch numbers. By accessing the batch number, you can view the PO, vendor, packing slip number, date received, current location, quantity, shelf expiry date, and cost.

With full traceability, you can even determine where the part is located and perform many other useful functions in real time, many of which are unique to WinAir.

Inventory Control

  • Trace parts through their full life cycle without any reference to paper
  • View unlimited issue, return, purchase and repair history by batch, part, or serial number
  • Define an unlimited number of parts
  • Return unused parts back to the original batch
  • Issue parts from stores to a task on a work order
  • Define shelf location, min, max, and reorder quantities for parts
  • Adjust inventory quickly and easily for scrapped, lost or expired parts
  • Track quarantined and in suspense parts (parts on the bench)

Purchasing and Receiving

  • Produce packing slips for sales and return to vendor
  • Create separate maintenance, operations, and administration purchase orders
  • Requisition and approve parts at the task level, and add parts to your Purchase Order
  • Allocate work order and task-related expenses using special service purchase orders
  • Specify the way WinAir calculates the sell price for parts
  • Apply credits for parts returned and already invoiced
  • Receive parts and produce a materials receiving report for accounts payable
  • Track back orders automatically

Inventory Reports and Cost Reporting

  • Produce accurate cost reporting for cost and sell prices (no more cost averaging)
  • Generate reports for value, expired parts, Min/Max, etc. with the Inventory Report Builder
  • Capture and report outstanding costs for materials purchase orders
  • Specify more than one work order and a date range to capture outstanding costs
  • Adjust costs for work in process
  • Invoice customers before aircraft leaves
  • Generate receiving reports summarized by GL account codes (bases)
